Formerly Chief Executive of Regulatory Solutions Limited (“RSL”), Alan joined The IMS Group in 2011 as Group Director, following IMS’ acquisition of RSL.  Alan has over 35 years of experience in the securities and futures industry and has worked for a number of city institutions. From 1986 until the formation of RSL, he was employed by Lehman Brothers where he held a variety of positions, including spending six years as European Head of Compliance. Alan founded RSL as Leale-Green Limited in early 1999 and has since built up a loyal client base, many of whom are now clients of The IMS Group.

Alan's experience of compliance and finance consultancy includes working with investment management firms, investment banks, broker dealers and corporate finance houses. Alan’s recent assignments include: advising clients involved in start-ups and ongoing compliance procedures; acting as an interim Compliance Officer; establishing and monitoring risk based compliance procedures; and advising on regulatory disputes.

Alan has also worked on the Sound Practices guides as an adviser to industry practitioner committees set up by the Alternative Investment Management Association. Alan is also a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
