Michel joined IMS in 2010 as Group CEO and has a twenty year track record of delivering sustained value in the financial services and technology sectors at globally recognised, industry leading companies. He has specific operational experience in investment management, risk management, capital markets and applied technology. Previously, Michel was Managing Director, Worldwide Capital Markets at Microsoft.

Other roles that Michel has held include; member of the Operating Board at Misys plc and CEO of the Misys Risk Management division; Managing Director for global sales & marketing at a Risk Management unit of State Street Bank; Managing Director EMEA for Algorithmics; CEO of Tenfore Benelux and regional sales director for Bloomberg in Germany, Switzerland & Austria. Michel started his career as a market maker in derivatives on the trading floor of various European Options Exchanges.

Michel is a non-executive board member on the board of various companies, a founding partner in a private equity and venture capital services firm and an active investor in new technology start-ups.
