IMS Charitable Trust

Established in February 2005, the IMS Charitable Trust, Registered Charity No. 1108356, is funded solely from IMS profits and provides support to dozens of charities and organisations. Some of the charities that have benefited from IMS donations include;

• Get Kids Going!
• There4Me.com
• Teenage Cancer Trust
• Absolute Return for Kids
• CrossWay Pregnancy Crisis Centre
• Macmillan Cancer Support

In December 2009 IMS supported Caudwell Children, by funding the full cost of a Balder Finesse wheelchair totalling almost £17,000, and presented it to Jordan Williams age 12. Jordan has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic condition which causes the gradual loss of muscle tone, subsequently affecting mobility and requiring regular operations and medical treatments.

Trudi Beswick, Chief Executive of Caudwell Children, commented, ‘Unfortunately, wheelchairs like the one donated to Jordan and not currently available through the NHS, and it is only with the continued support of companies like IMS that we are able to provide donations like this for children all around the UK. We are very grateful to Scott (Wilson) and his team, they have been instrumental in making a young man very happy.’
