Risk Monitoring

On behalf of investors and investment managers, we offer periodic risk management oversight (daily, monthly, quarterly etc.) aimed to monitor and identify any events or circumstances that may result in the investment management’s firm failing to meet the risk management standards on an ongoing basis. We can also undertake regular monitoring of the client’s investment portfolio in order to ensure that it is operating within risk limits contained within the fund prospectus and internal risk guidelines. Additionally we can be engaged to become an independent member of the investment manager’s risk committee.

What we do:

1.Risk ‘Governance’ oversight periodic monitoring (monthly, quarterly etc) of your risk governance arrangements. IMS will conduct its proprietary ongoing due diligence programme.

2.Risk ‘Management’ oversight risk governance oversight is supported with daily monitoring of the firm’s investment portfolio and trades (daily access to the portfolio positions will be required for IMS to complete its monitoring work).

3.IMS can join your regular risk meetings as independent risk consultant

Ideal for: large firms seeking to enhance independent controls and reduce conflicts, small/medium firms with limited access to experienced risk personnel, any firms looking to be more transparent on risk controls.
