IMS has been offering a complete FSA Application project management service since 1997.

Our FSA Regulatory Transactions Team is the only specialist team in the UK dedicated solely to FSA applications and associated transactions, such as take-overs. The team is the largest provider of applications for wholesale investment firms to the FSA and processes over 100 applications each year.

By combining experience from inside the regulatory bodies with tried-and-tested procedures, IMS can project-manage applications through to completion for financial institutions seeking to conduct 'regulated activities' in the UK. Our process minimises the input required from the applicant, freeing up valuable resources to ensure the rest of the business is given the attention it deserves.

IMS has considerable familiarity with the FSA application issues as they relate to incoming US managers whether conducting management, dealing, advisory or merely marketing activities. We can also provide advice on marketing and pre-authorisation awareness raising activities, where needed.

Working in conjunction with your other service providers as necessary (eg. Legal advisers) and together with our affiliate IMS Buzzacott, who will typically deal with the financial and capital aspects of the application, we provide a seamless service totally focused on making your FSA application experience quick and uncomplicated.
